Yeshivat Erev – Gemara Learning for Children Association is committed to full transparency, proper management, and responsible use of public resources and donations.
On this page you can find official information about the association’s activities, public documents, funding sources, and contact details.
The association was founded with a clear vision: to make Gemara learning a source of success, confidence, and joy for every child and teenager in Jerusalem. We believe that true Torah acquisition comes through independent learning, and therefore we provide students with the practical tools needed to understand Gemara, develop Aramaic literacy, and build confidence in learning.
At our learning center, located at 12 Ido HaNavi Street in Jerusalem, nearly 100 boys gather every evening, five nights a week, as part of the “Yeshivat Erev” program. The program provides a warm and structured educational environment during after-school evening hours and offers meaningful Torah learning in a supportive atmosphere.
The educational method of the association is based on advanced pedagogical approaches specially adapted for children and teenagers. Students are taught how to approach Gemara texts independently, identify logical structures, and understand the flow of the sugya clearly and systematically. The program focuses on precise reading, understanding Aramaic terminology, and building long-term learning skills.
Special attention is given to students who experience learning or concentration difficulties. Through professional learning materials, personal guidance, and individualized support, students receive the tools needed to succeed and discover their abilities. The association places strong emphasis on building self-confidence and creating a positive connection to Torah learning that can accompany students throughout their lives.
